Jarwan Bin Marhan Al-Abdan, a Saudi national, was beheaded in Riyadh Wednesday after being convicted of smuggling
hashish into the Kingdom, said a statement released by the Interior Ministry, cited by SPA news agency.
"The culprit was convicted by the Shariah Court, and the verdict was approved by the Cassation Court and the Supreme Judicial Council," said the statement.
