ALBAWABA-Saudi Arabia has declined to issue entry visas for Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and Education Minister Yifat Kish, preventing them from attending the upcoming UNESCO conference in Riyadh.

As reported by Israeli Channel 13, Israel had exerted considerable efforts to secure invitations for the ministers to participate in the World Heritage Committee meeting.

However, Saudi authorities impeded their entry by not issuing visas. The channel cited unnamed Israeli officials who revealed that the Israeli Foreign Ministry had also reevaluated the situation at the request of the United States.

Consequently, both Israeli ministers will not be attending, with participation limited to professional representatives. U.S. officials reportedly commented that the timing for the ministers' visit to Saudi Arabia is inappropriate at this point.
