A Briton was found stabbed to death on Wednesday in his flat in Saudi Arabia's eastern city of Al-Khobar, a Saudi interior ministry spokesman said. The death appeared to be a "criminal act" rather than a terrorist incident, said spokemsan General Mansur al-Turki, adding it was under investigation.
According to AFP, the British Foreign Office said he died on Tuesday and confirmed that local police had launched an inquiry. The death was being treated as suspicious, the Foreign Office added.
