Al-Qaeda in Saudi Arabia has rejected an amnesty offer proposed last month by King Abdullah for wanted men, who surrender to authorities, the group said in an internet statement.
The amnesty "shows the phobia and the fear felt by this apostate government," said the statement, according to AFP. "Announcing such an offer -- which has already been tried and failed -- does not correspond to the logic of force," the GROUP said Wednesday.
"We're telling him (the king): no surrender. It will be victory or martyrdom."
The statement called on Muslims on the Arabian Peninsula to carry out (jihad) even without membership in Al-Qaeda in Saudi Arabia. "The Crusaders are strutting about in the land of Mohammed. Burn the ground under their feet and become tougher against them," it said.
