Saudi ambassador praises ties with Iran

Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Iran, Dr. Nasir bin Ahmad Al-Breik praised Monday the growing bilateral relations between the two countries.  

 

In a statement during a visit to Al-Wifaq newspaper and Iranian Press Establishment in Tehran, the ambassador pointed out to the joint desire of officials in the two countries to develop cooperation, stressing the importance of the bilateral relations in the sectors of culture, media and economy.  

 

Last year, he said the number of visitors from Iran to the Kingdom to perform Umrah (minor pilgrimage), reached a figure of 546,000. "This number is expected to rise to 600,000, this year," he added. (Albawaba.com)
