Saudi airstrikes targeting areas near Yemen's capital Sanaa killed ten people on Friday, Reuters reported.
Officials said one air raid hit the house of a retired army brigadier, killing him and five of his family members in central Ibb, the mountainous area between Sanaa and the coast. Four other people in the city were killed when airstrikes targeted military and security buildings.
Yemen's exiled foreign minister told Reuters on Thursday that steps are already under way to try to recapture Sanaa. Houthi rebels seized the capital in a revolt against the government in September.
The conflict in Yemen has so far killed 4,300 people, many of them civilians.
