In past years, SanDisk products were promoted at GITEX through Grand Stores, SanDisk’s distributor in the United Arab Emirates. With SanDisk’s growth in the region, GITEX 2006 is a perfect opportunity for SanDisk to showcase its latest innovations and expose its upcoming business plans for the region.

Over the past year, SanDisk has increased its market presence by continually bolstering its relationship with and support to its distributors and resellers in the region. The company had embarked on numerous marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and promoting its flagship products such as the new Sansa e200 range of MP3 players.
Grand Stores is the largest retailer in the UAE with twelve luxury retail show rooms and supplies leading retailers such as the Dubai Duty Free, Plug-ins, Carrefour, Compume, Jacky's, and Sharaf DG.
Ahmed Abdulwahed operates 35 consumer electronic retail stores and supplies Carrefour, Radio Shack, Compume, and Extra in Saudi Arabia, as well as regional distributors and resellers in Oman, Yemen, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, and Jordan.
Future Communication sells SanDisk products through 22 showrooms and retailers, including Virgin Megastores and Eureka in Kuwait, and distributes products to telecommunication operators such as MTC Vodafone and Wataniya.
