Samsung has decided to strengthen its presence in the Moroccan market.

The electronic-product specialist recently inaugurated its new office in Casablanca to promote its mobile phone sales in the Kingdom. This constituted a strategic move intended to improve Samsung's performance in the highly competitive Moroccan telecom market, Al-Anbaa Daily reported. In the first implementation stage, the South Korean cell-phone producer aims at positioning itself as the fourth-leading player in this North African market (behind Nokia, Motorola and Ericsson). The South Korean giant representative, Mr. Kim, announced that his company plans to expand throughout the entire Arab Maghreb.
