Samsung reveals NV 24HD -The “Perfect HD” Digital Camera
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, a leading provider of cutting edge technology in the consumer electronics industry, introduced the new NV 24HD with the world’s first 24mm ultra wide angle lens. Samsung’s NV 24HD combines the best optics technology with cutting edge digital technology.

We are thrilled to take the range even further with the launch of the NV24 and its innovative HD capabilities.” said Ashraf Sajid, general manager of audio visual division at Samsung Gulf Electronics.
“Photographers of all levels will now be able to create high-quality video recordings at the touch of a button” Sajid added.
Samsung NV 24HD boasts high 10.2 mega pixel resolution with a 24mm ultra wide angle and a 3.6 optical zoom lens which enables taking wide shots from a limited distance. The full HD camera is equipped with Samsung’s Dream Engine, a rapid image correction feature developed by Samsung’s exclusive technology to produce high quality pictures.
Another intrinsic feature is the 6.4cm AM OLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) display. AM OLED is considered to be the next generation display. Samsung NV 24HD prevents distortion of the screen depending on the viewing angle by emitting light at a speed 2000 times faster than TFT LCD. As a result, the camera displays pictures clearly and recreates colors more naturally.
The full HD camera is enhanced with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Samsung’s exclusive Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) used to take clean, shake free images in low-light and indoor settings without a flash or tripod. Samsung NV 24 HD is also equipped with Auto Contrast Balance (ABC) which automatically adjusts to the subject’s brightness capturing the finest details.
In addition, the NV 24HD comes with a built in Smile and Blink Detection which recognizes the appearance of a smile or a blink of an eye, the camera will take 3 continuous shots which make it easier to take group pictures. Samsung NV 24HD is enhanced with Red Eye Fix feature and seven different types of effects for beginner and intermediate users in its Photo Style Selector software.
