Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics, announced the launch of its 3D LED TV for the first time in Egypt. The revolutionary 3D LED TV boasts high definition images, connectivity and power savings, and introduces a new era of TV technology, which offers a viewing experience with limitless horizons.
"With the introduction of a new 3D LED category of flat panel TVs, Samsung marks a transformative moment in the TV industry that revolutionizes the way consumers interact with and experience their TVs," said Mr. Duke Park, General Manager, Samsung Cairo Office. "This entirely new line-up of high-definition LED TVs represents the current pinnacle of technological leadership. Now, you can watch your favorite program or your favorite team's soccer game as if you are actually in the stands."
The all new 3D high-definition viewing experience is made possible with Samsung's cutting-edge 3D glasses, which will be launched for the first time alongside the TVs.
The 3D LED TV also provides consumers with the option to switch to the 2D viewing mode via a simple touch of the remote control. The new 3D LED TV fuses highly advanced technology and features with an artful, ultra slim design in an intelligent package that also reflects Samsung's profound concern for environmental sustainability. It is shipped with Content Library Flash, which includes a diversified range of contents such as a picture gallery, games, cooking and fitness programs. Users will also be able to download additional content and directly control it with write and delete functions. Wireless DLNA will be of particular interest to consumers because of the additional flexibility it gives them to connect their TV to the internet.
"The TV industry has witnessed astonishing developments within the last two decades. Through our state-of-the-art R&D centers, Samsung has been able to invent new TVs that met our consumers' needs," explained Park. "I profoundly believe that our new 3D LED TV has exceeded all expectations and introduced an unsurpassed breakthrough to the world of entertainment, as significant as the invention of the TV itself 80 years ago."
In order to enrich the 3D content, Samsung has signed an agreement with DreamWorks to produce 3D programming; just another way that Samsung is committed to meeting consumer's needs.
"The launch of the new LED 3D TV comes in line with Mansour Group's commitment to provide our customers with the latest innovation brought by Samsung," stated Mr. Lotfy Mansour, the Managing Director of Mantrac, the leading Samsung electronics' distributor in Egypt. "At the same time, I would like to highly praise the tremendous success of our partnership with Samsung Electronics in less than three years. As a leading distributor of LED and LCD screens in Egypt, we are keen to offer the Egyptian market with the state-of-the art technology introduced worldwide."
