Samsung’s Home Appliances partner community gets world-class training

Samsung Electronics, the leader in digital convergence technology, today announced that it has completed its first round of training for partners in Middle East. Covering over 1,000 participants across six countries – UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen and Kuwait, the training aimed at educating the partner community on Samsung’s Air-conditioning division, and in particular the superiority of its recently launched Health conscious product comprising, window, decorative wall mounted and floor standing air conditioners.

“Samsung always believed in providing world-class training to its partner community, as they are the key interface between the company and its customers, and play a vital role in helping customers make right decisions,” said Mr. S.Y.Kim, General Manager, Home Appliances division. “The training got a sensational response, which was also due to the unprecedented and prominent features of the recently launched state of the art products. Furthermore, Samsung will now continue to organize similar training programs for our dealers and also endeavor to include consumers in such events.”

The home appliances leader recently became the first company in Middle East to launch a wide range of differentiated products which bring actual benefits to customers. The new range of home appliances, which include over 100 new models, such as worlds fastest cooking speed oven, most convenient twin chamber Vacuum cleaners together with exclusive Quatro cooling system in refrigerators and Washing Machines with sanitizing power of the sophisticated silver technology.

Samsung Middle East and Africa (MEA) is headquartered in Dubai. In line with its global vision of ‘Digital Convergence,’ the company markets its digital devices portfolio through four product divisions: Handheld products (HHP), Information Technology (IT), Home Appliances (HA) and Audio-Visual (AV). Through a network of over 40 distributors, Samsung MEA looks after the distribution of its digital devices across the Middle East and Africa region. With annual revenues in 2004 region reaching US$2.7 billion, the company has also invested in a service subsidiary, located in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone in Dubai. The 3000-sq.mts-service facility recently completed nine years and is among the largest within the GCC countries.
