A Saudi Arabian sailor shot and killed a colleague and wounded a sergeant at a naval college in eastern Saudi Arabia, the Defense and Aviation Ministry said Monday.
Sailor Aunan bin Fihad Al-Baqmi fire random shots Sunday morning at his colleagues at the Dammam Technical Marine Studies Institute, said a Defense Ministry statement, carried by the official SPA news agency.
"The incident resulted in the death of Sailor Marzouq bin Hizam bin Marzouq Al-Dousari, and slight wounding of Cpl. Hamoud bin Abdullah bin Jabarah Al-Sobaie," according to the statement.
The Defense Ministry said the assailant was arrested immediately and "transferred to civil authorities to complete required investigations." (Albawaba.com)
