ALBAWABA- In breaking news, a Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bomber has crashed in the Irkutsk region of southern Russia, just 100 meters from the federal highway R-255. 

The crash occurred at 22:11 local time, reportedly due to a technical malfunction. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the crew was safely ejected, although there are conflicting reports about the fate of the four crew members onboard.

The incident comes at a time of escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainian forces have launched a significant counteroffensive, seizing territory in Russia's Kursk region.

 In response, Moscow has deployed additional troops and military equipment, including tanks and rocket launchers, to reinforce its border regions.

 This development follows the recent delivery of F-16 jets and advanced ammunition to Ukraine by the U.S. and NATO, further intensifying the conflict.
