The chairman of the Duma`s Defense Committee, Viktor Zavarzin, on Wednesday referred to Iran as a "strategic partner" of Russia. In a meeting with the chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, he called for further expansion of Tehran-Moscow cooperation at the regional and international levels.
