ALBAWABA - Russian Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was killed in a car explosion in Moscow on Monday, the Russian Investigative Committee announced on Monday.
Earlier reports confirmed that a top official in the Russian military was seriously injured in a car blast in the Russian capital, Moscow.
Fanil Sarvarov, 56, was believed to be on his way to work when a major blast took place in the Yasenevo district in Moscow.
Russian Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov works in the Ministry of Defence as he is the head of the Department of Operational Training of the Kremlin's armed forces.
