Russia destroys over 100 Ukrainian drones

Moscow, SANA-The Russian Defense Ministry announced that air defense systems shot down 110 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.

“The air defenses had intercepted and destroyed 110 Ukrainian drones, as well ,43 drones were shot down over Kursk region, 27 over Lipetsk region, 18 over Oryol region, 8 over Nizhny Novgorod region, 7 over Belgord region, 6 over Byransk region and one over Moscow region.”Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement on Sunday.

For his part, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced in a statement via Telegram application that the air defense repelled an attack by a drone that was flying towards Moscow in Ramensky district, noting that there were no injuries or material damage at the site where the debris fell according to initial reports.
