Russia captures of Lozovatskoye settlement in Donetsk

ALBAWABA -  The Lozovatskoye settlement in the Donetsk area has been taken over by Russian forces, according to a statement made by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

The Ministry gave an update on the Russian Armed Forces' ongoing operations in Ukraine in a recent statement. The declaration emphasized that Russian forces had taken control of important front-line strategic locations.

"The central military units, through their active operations, have liberated the Lozovatskoye settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic," said the statement.

According to the Ministry, Russian forces damaged two Ukrainian electronic warfare stations, an ammunition warehouse, and an aircraft depot in the recent 24 hours. In addition, 81 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including 37 outside the "special operation zone," and 10 HIMARS missiles manufactured in the United States were intercepted and destroyed by Russian air defense systems.

The magnitude of the damage done to Ukrainian military equipment since the start of the war was further described in the statement. 630 aircraft, 278 helicopters, 28,545 unmanned aerial vehicles, 556 air defense missile systems, 16,698 tanks and armored vehicles, 1,390 multiple rocket launchers, 12,446 howitzers and mortars, and 24,115 special military vehicles have all been destroyed by Russian troops, according to the Ministry.
