Rubber World Industries (RWI), the leading manufacturer of closed-cell rubber insulation 'Gulf-O-flex' in the Gulf and South-East Asia, and part of the international business conglomerate, the Shaikhani Group of Companies, has expressed its confidence over the resumption of its operations, after a fire broke out at its Ajman warehouse facility on June 14, 2010. The leading manufacturer further assured that it will be able to deliver its customers' orders sufficiently despite the delays in production as a result of the incident through stocks from its storage facilities and from its partner factories, which are gearing up to increase their production facilities to meet clients' requirements on time.

Despite the damage caused by the blaze, no RWI employee was hurt during the incident due to the swift implementation of a standby evacuation plan prepared in advance by the company for such emergencies. The prompt response of the Ajman Ministry of Interior, Ajman Civil Defense, General Department of Ajman Police, Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman, and the Federal Electricity and Water Authority, has also been very helpful in ensuring the safety of all personnel.
