A series of roadside bombs targeting Shia Houthi fighters rocked Yemen’s capital Sanaa Monday wounding several people, according to Reuters.
The country’s Defense Ministry confirmed the five bomb attacks, which targeted Houthi checkpoints and buildings.
Eight people are believed to have been injured by the explosions, with three in critical condition, a medical source confirmed.
Yemen has been the epicenter of conflict in recent months after ongoing clashes between Houthi rebels, local tribesmen and Al Qaeda.
