ALBAWABA - Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak has landed in Israel, on a visit to show solidarity to his counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Sunak said that he met with Israeli president Isaac Herzog, quoted: "I’ve just met President Herzog and conveyed my gratitude for the support provided to British nationals caught up in the terror attacks. Together we agreed on the importance of getting urgent humanitarian support to ordinary Palestinians in Gaza who are also suffering".
