Rice wraps up Riyadh visit

U.S Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice left Riyadh Tuesday after an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, SPA said.


At Riyadh Air Base, she was seen off by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister; Prince Salman Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Delegate-Minister at the Saudi Embassy in Washington; the U.S Ambassador to the Kingdom, James Oberwetter, and a number of officials, the agency added.

 

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal met Monday night with Rice. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States and the latest developments in the Middle East especially in Palestine and Iraq.


The meeting was attended by Prince Salman Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Delegate-Minister at the Saudi Embassy in Washington, and the U.S Ambassador to the Kingdom, as well as several officials.
