ALBAWABA - Emergency services confirmed that six people were killed in a propane-butane cylinder blast in a restaurant in Most City, northwest Czech.
According to local media, the explosion caused a huge fire engulfing the building.
The Czech fire rescue service further reported that eight others were injured in the restaurant blast which took place on Saturday evening.
Nonetheless, 30 others inside the building and in the surrounding area were evacuated.
It further noted in the X post that firefighters were able to rescue a person who was stuck in the toilet and surrounded by flames.
Vladimír Vlček, Director General of the Czech Fire and Rescue Service, arrived at the scene as investigations into the cause of the fire and the amount of property damage are still under process.
