ALBAWABA- U.S. airstrikes have intensified across Yemen, targeting Houthi-held areas and escalating the ongoing conflict.
American aircraft launched a new wave of raids on Kamaran Island in the Red Sea, west of Yemen, and on Al-Zaher District in Al-Bayda Governorate, central Yemen.
According to media affiliated with Ansar Allah (the Houthis), more than 16 new U.S. raids struck Kamaran Island in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, just hours after 15 previous airstrikes hit the same area.
The island, located strategically off the western coast of Yemen, has become a repeated target in Washington’s ongoing military campaign against Houthi forces.
Simultaneously, U.S. aircraft carried out multiple airstrikes on Houthi positions in Al-Zaher District in Al-Bayda, a governorate in central Yemen.
While exact casualties remain unclear, local sources indicate that the strikes have left dozens dead or injured, heightening an already volatile situation.
These latest attacks mark a significant escalation in U.S. military activity in Yemen and come amid growing regional instability, raising concerns of further humanitarian and political fallout.
