Rendezvous with Sicily, organized by the Orestiadi Foundation and the Italian Culture Centre with the collaboration of the Association of Tunisian Journalists and Writers, will take place between March 8 and March 13. The concept “rendezvous” is based on the cultural exchange between Tunisia and Sicily such as exchange between two cultures in arts, gastronomy, music, cinema and literature. La Presse reports that the event will have a rich program including an art exhibition in Dar Bach Hamba, the exhibition of Maria Tascai who is one of the famous Italian artists and a musical performance titled “El Gabiano” (The seagull) by Sbanni Canturi group. There will be also a conference by Pino Corrente, the renowned Italian chef, who will talk about the Sicilian cuisine in the movies of Visconti.
