The Range Rover, Land Rover’s flagship model and major contributor to the brand’s growth and success continues to remain at the forefront of the luxury SUV segment, offering superior on-road luxury and supreme off-road capability.
Available with an option of two engine variants, The Range Rover Vogue Supercharged is the most powerful Range Rover derivative, which comes equipped with a powerful 4.2 litre engine delivering 400 bhp. The second engine variant is a Naturally Aspirated 4.4 litre V8 derivative delivering 305 bhp.
Both engines have a six-speed automatic electronically controlled transmission offering outstanding smoothness and response. The vehicle uses a centre differential that improves both off-road prowess and on-road handling and a low-range is also available for extreme off-roading.
The two engines have been developed to offer more torque at lower revs and to operate at more extreme angles to cope with tough off-roading. They have enhanced protection from sand and rocks, and are also better water-proofed for Land Rover’s tough river-wading requirements.
The Supercharged version has performance Brembo front brakes for better stopping power, and revised suspension that delivers flatter handling, for superior high-speed on-road performance.
In addition to the dynamic performance features, The Range Rover comes equipped with the latest technology making it the best in its class: a DVD satellite navigation system provides both on and off-road guidance, a Logic 7 harman/kardon audio system with 14 speakers and 710 watts of power, and a personal integrated telephone system that is Bluetooth-enabled and can be voice, touch-screen or steering wheel operated.
Other features include an optional rear seat entertainment system, which offers two headrest-mounted 6.5 inch screens, a six-disc DVD auto-changer, infra-red remote control, wireless headphones and sockets for auxiliary media sources, such as an MP3 player or games console.
