RAK Ceramics, the world's largest ceramics manufacturer, has announced that it will be planting today (Thursday, April 22, 2010) up to 500 trees around its manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah in celebration of Earth Day. RAK Ceramics employees will be joining in the activity, which is part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and reaffirms its commitment to protect the environment and promote sustainable development.

Dr. Massaad will lead from front by planting the first sapling followed by other RAK Ceramic employees.
