The raffle draw on February 1 saw another dream come true proclaiming that Dubai is indeed the city where dreams are fulfilled. Satia Narayanan, a resident of Dubai for over 9 years, won the Lexus Mega Raffle, changing his life overnight.
“This is the happiest moment of my life and I cannot express how thankful I am to God,” said Satia Narayanan. “Winning the raffle has given me what I always wanted, a home for my family back in India, education for my children and a comfortable life for my parents. I could have never done all this with the meagre income that I earn as a carton collector,” he added.
“Nine years ago when I came to Dubai it changed the lives of my family as they had more to spend and now Dubai has given me everything”, he added.
The Lexus Mega Raffle is one of the most prominent features of DSF and has been an extraordinary success from its inception in 1996. The participants stand to win a Lexus LS 460 luxury sedan and AED 100,000 in cash on purchase of a raffle coupon for just AED 200. The draw is structured in partnership with Al Futtaim Group, one of the key sponsors of DSF 2010.
