The European Union Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM) announced Thursday the opening of the Rafah Crossing at 8:30 am until 8 pm in the evening.
In a statement, received by WAFA, EUBAM added that the opening of the crossing is the result of European Union's efforts between the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) and the Israeli government to allow humanitarian situations departure from the Gaza Strip to Egypt only.
The Rafah Border Crossing has been closed for normal operations since 25 June. EUBAM said efforts resulted in it being open on 18 and 19 July for humanitarian traffic from Egypt to the Gaza Strip and over 5,000 people crossed.
Meanwhile, an Israeli warplane bombarded Thursday at pre-dawn a house northern the Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun. According to witnesses, Israeli military aircraft "F-16" destroyed completely a two-storey-house of Sobhi Alkafarnh and partially damaged the neighbouring houses but no causalities were reported.
Elsewhere, Israeli forces wounded Thursday at least four Palestinians and arrested four others in the West Bank City of Ramallah.
