ALBAWABA - Jordanian Queen Rania Abdullah attended the opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, Egypt, on Saturday.
Queen Rania, who stunned in a classy red dress, attended the opening ceremony of the Egyptian Museum along with Princess Salma, who picked a simple black dress.
The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday evening was attended by 79 official delegations, including 39 delegations headed by kings, princes, heads of state and government.

This opening is considered the most prominent in the history of modern Egypt, as it marks the inauguration of the largest museum in the world, which includes rare artifacts, and is considered the fruit of the Egyptian authorities' continuous efforts to develop the tourism sector and enhance Egypt’s global cultural standing.
The museum is expected to attract around 5 million visitors annually, becoming a premier cultural tourist destination featuring artifacts of symbolic value, as well as pieces being displayed for the first time.
