Upon its declaration as the regional center for issuing permits of transition according to the European Aviation Safety standards, Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College recently announced the completion of preparations and its readiness to host the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Conference 2010. The event will take place in Jordan next week, in collaboration with Al Khuzama Technology and Marketing and the Holland Aviation Consultancy firm, marking a unique regional participation and attendance.
The conference is expected to bring together key representatives from the aviation field and will combine a diverse group of professionals from the region. Discussions will focus on the European aviation safety policies, rules and regulations with the focus on innovative learning methods along with the implementation of EASA regulations.
On this occasion Captain Mohammad Khawaldeh, Director General of the Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College, emphasized the importance of such a regional event which in turn reflects Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College’s commitment to meet the growing needs in the aviation world and expressed his eagerness towards elevating safety measures and raising awareness regarding standards which is guided by the renowned European model- EASA.
The conference will also offer the opportunity for participants to be involved in interactive workshops focusing on flight standards and certification requirements in this particular field.
It is worth mentioning that the conference will be sponsored by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Royal Jordanian as the Platinum sponsor, Le Royal Amman as the Gold sponsor and Air Libya as the silver sponsor.
