Following on from last week's major speed enhancement, which saw Qtel successfully upgrade its HSPA network to offer mobile broadband speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps, Qtel today unveiled a new range of high-value packs for Mobile Broadband.

To ensure that everybody has the chance to enjoy some of the fastest, most reliable Mobile Broadband in the region, Qtel has introduced a special 10 Day Unlimited Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband SIM Pack, at the incredible price of just QR250.

The pack provides round-the-clock Internet access for users, and is available to everyone in Qatar.

As an added bonus, Qtel is even reducing the price of its Mobile Broadband top-up service, which enables customers to extend their use of the pre-paid mobile broadband service.

The special three-day Mobile Broadband top-up is now just QR90, while the 10-day top-up costs just QR250. Even the massive 30-day prepaid mobile broadband pack is down to QR450.

Customers can access the top-up service from any Qtel Self-Service Machine or any Qatar National Bank ATM.

The reduced rates for prepaid Mobile Broadband access are being offered to ensure that the widest number of people can try and enjoy Qtel's world-class Mobile Broadband network, which is being consistently enhanced. Currently delivering speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps, the network will be upgraded to offer speeds as high as 21 Mbps by August 2010.

As a final fun extra, in anticipation of a summer of sizzling soccer surprises, Qtel has launched a special limited edition Plug-and-Play High Speed Football Modem.

Available from Qtel concept shops across the country, the superfast Qtel Mobile Broadband modem costs just QR 349 and offers reliability and mobility, particularly when wired into the Qtel network. The modem works with both prepaid and postpaid Mobile Broadband accounts.

With people across the country looking to follow the goals and international competition of this summer's festival of football, the special ball-shaped modem is likely to be a smash-hit with football fans.
