A website dedicated to the fourth World Trade Organization (WTO) ministerial conference in Doha was launched Sunday, reported the Gulf Times newspaper.
The domain, accessible at www.wtodoha.org, packs a load of information on the country, its features and the conference. It has information on the national economy, health, education, telecommunication, embassies, shopping, recreation and what to see.
The site, developed by a local company Afkar, also lists the facilities provided for the conference, due to be held in Doha from November 9 to 13, said the paper.
It also has information on the entry visa requirements. Visa applications are normally processed through Qatari diplomatic and consular missions in their respective countries.
But, according to the website, for delegates who do not have a Qatari mission in their respective countries, “their visas will be issued at the (Doha) airport provided they return the completed forms contained in the box file which will be sent to all delegates.”
“We are very proud that a local company has developed the site,” said Abdulaziz bin Yousuf Al Khulaify, WTO organizing vommittee vice-chairman – Albawaba.com
