The Qatari government decided Wednesday to scrap the communications and transport ministry, reported the official Qatari news agency, QNA.
“The cabinet approved the scrapping of the ministry of communications and transport and the redistribution of the functions for which it is responsible,” the agency said.
The cabinet also decided to “take the necessary measures for the promulgation of decrees creating a global body for civil aviation, another body for customs and ports and a body for postal services.” - Albawaba.com
