Pyramedia to host the Semi-Final Judging Sessions of the 2010 International Emmy® Awards in Abu Dhabi

Award-winning media production company, Pyramedia, will be hosting two semi-final judging sessions for the International Emmy® Awards on June 28 in Abu Dhabi on behalf of The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The judging sessions, held in association with twofour54, will be in two categories, Current Affairs and Drama Series and will recognize excellence in global television programming.

 

Nashwa Al Ruwaini, Board Member and CEO of Pyramedia said, “We’re proud that for the first time, an Abu Dhabi-based company is host to the International Emmy® Awards and we are very honoured to represent the Academy during these judging sessions. The media industry in the UAE is growing exponentially and we are now recognized as an international player in the global film and television industry. A panel of expert jurors, chosen in collaboration with The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, will include television and film professionals from across the UAE who will judge a number of entries in the two categories for the 2010 International Emmy® Awards. The panel will determine the programs that will advance to the final round of judging.

 

The semi-final judging sessions will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on June 28 at twofour54’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
