Provocative Iranian actions in Gulf: US condemns laser incident

ALBAWABA- In a concerning incident, the US Fifth Fleet reported that Iranian boats fired laser beams at an American helicopter while it was flying in Gulf airspace. 

The fleet spokesperson criticized the Iranian Navy's behavior, deeming it inconsistent with the conduct expected of a professional naval force. 

Despite these provocations, the US Fifth Fleet emphasized its commitment to operating within the bounds of international law.

Asserting its dedication to regional maritime security, the fleet announced its intention to continue flying and sailing as permitted by established international norms.
