PRO TECHnology, the leading integrator of storage and high availability solutions in the Middle East, has announced the signing of two contracts totaling US$ 4 million – one with a Libyan education company and the other with a TV station - at the recently concluded GITEX 2006. The company is now showcasing latest technologies at the Media and Marketing Show 2006, being held from 27-29 November at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
PRO TECHnology in conjunction with OMIS, a sister concern based in Cyprus, signed a US$ 1.2 million deal with an education company in Libya to provide 75 fully equipped computer labs. Under the terms of the contract, PRO TECHnology will set up these labs in Libya with IBM servers, 1400 Lenovo PC's, in-focus projectors, HP printers and other equipment, and the installation will commence in the first quarter of next year. PRO TECHnology also signed a US$ 2.8 million contract with a TV station to provide a comprehensive range of solutions which include technologies from Apple, Sony and Nexsan.
