Eritrean President Issaias Afeworki arrived in Cairo Tuesday for talks with his Egyptian counterpart Hosni Mubarak about the crises in Sudan and Somalia, MENA news agency said.
The discussions between Mubarak and Issaias will deal with "the general situation in Africa and in the Horn of Africa, especially the Sudanese and Somali files, as well as the trouble in the Middle East," MENA and Egyptian officials said. In addition, relations between Eritrea and Egypt will be discussed.
The Eritrean president is expected to stay in Egypt for several days. (Albawaba.com)
