Pregnant Israeli woman killed after being injured in West Bank shooting

ALBAWABA - A pregnant Israeli woman, who was injured in a shooting incident that took place in the West Bank on May 14, died in a hospital near Tel Aviv today, AFP reported.

According to Israeli authorities, the woman was with another male driving near the Israeli settlement of Bruchin when their car was subjected to live bullets, leading to her injury. 

"After struggling to save the life of the woman who was critically injured in the shooting attack in Samaria and arrived during resuscitation, the medical teams were forced to pronounce her dead," Beilinson Hospital revealed in a statement.

However, the hospital further mentioned that the baby was delivered via caesarean section and taken to another hospital. The man who was with the Israeli citizen is in a "mild" condition.
