The Portugese prime minister, Pedro Santana Lopes has concluded an official visit to Algeria which lasted two days, according to Algerian press reports. Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika together with the President of the National Council, known as the Senate, Abdelkader Bensalah, and the President of the Algerian Parliament, President of the National Popular Assembley Ammar Saidani all met with the prime minister. In separate meetings, he also met with his counterpart, Ahmed Ouyahia.
During the course of the meeting a number of treaties were signed as well as a partnership accord.
