Dubai Police foiled an attempt to smuggle an 11-year-old boy through Port Rashid in Dubai earlier this week.
The smuggling attempt was made by the little boy's mother, a British national and former airhostess, following a dispute with the boy's father over his custody.
The legal battle between the two adults was won by the father in both Dubai and the United Kingdom.
According to Gulf News, the mother was planning to smuggle her son to London for which she obtained travel documents. (Albawaba.com)
