Perla Group International Secures US$2.8 Million In Government Contracts

Perla Group International Inc., (ETGS:PK) an emerging leader in the international military, police and security solutions sectors with offices in Florida, Dubai and Kabul, today announced it has been awarded separate government contracts valued at $2.8 million. Its Armored Car division has secured three separate orders from the U.S. Military in Afghanistan for armored vehicles. These orders, valued at $1 million, are the result of direct bids.

Additionally, the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Iraqi Police Force for a total of 143 "trained and certified" Explosives Detection Dogs. The first group of 23 will be delivered this month to the Iraqi Police Force with the balance to be delivered in 2011. The contract is valued at US$1.8 million.

The Company, which was founded in the UAE in 2007, recently completed a reverse merger with US based Elm Technologies Inc., a publicly listed developmental stage company and plans to have established offices in Melbourne, Australia, and Lagos, Nigeria early in 2011. It has applied for a new stock symbol and will continue to trade under ETGS:PK until the new symbol is approved.
