The Pearl-Qatar unveils unique sales centre incorporating technology from Visionaire

Visionaire, a leading provider of integrated convergence technology and high end architectural lighting solutions has completed the installation of the latest wireless streaming audio-video system at  ‘The Oyster,’ the custom-designed Sales & Marketing Centre at The Pearl-Qatar in Doha, company officials revealed today. Shaped like a shell of a pearl oyster, the sales centre is a unique facility created by United Development Company (UDC), owner and developer of The Pearl-Qatar, to showcase the magnificent and luxurious lifestyles that are available to select homeowners and investors in the Island Development.

The Pearl-Qatar, a multi-billion dollar real estate development being built off the coast of Doha, is a Riviera-style man-made island covering 985 acres of reclaimed land, and is one of the largest property developments in the country. A unique feature of the sales centre is the resin-based flooring that makes visitors feel like they are walking on water, which when combined with the black and white interiors that house a dome within the pearl oyster shell, creates a sense of the sky above the ocean. In addition, the sales centre is home to a massive 30 by 18 metre model of The Pearl-Qatar development, which showcases the island’s exquisite architectural designs.

Visitors to the centre can witness the entire project to scale and experience life at The Pearl-Qatar via multiple touch screens, which display the various architectural and construction features of the project with amazing detail of layouts, types and sizes provided using the interactive software specially developed for the touch interactive information displays. Further, the specially installed architectural intelligent lighting system selectively lights up architecture details of individual developments using highly focused programmed spots, fibre optic and LED lighting, which are user-operated from 11 distinct precincts, each having a large interactive flat panel touch screen information display.

To provide a personalised audio-visual experience, Visionaire has installed the latest wireless streaming audio solution called guidePort which uses the installed wireless LAN system to automatically deliver managed audio content to designer head-phones worn by the visitors from each precinct’s interactive information display system. As soon as the visitor comes in the vicinity of the precinct, the headphones pick-up the related streamed audio for a unique and personalised experience of the Pearl Qatar and the visitor is able to carry back his own memory of the experience.

“International investor interest in The Pearl-Qatar is very high and as the development will be the world’s smartest island in terms of technology and how it is used; we believe it is important to emphasize this with The Oyster. Our sales centre has several meeting rooms each equipped with the latest Video Conference facilities which enable our sales staff to showcase the project to remote visitors who will be able to enjoy an introductory experience without having to travel to Qatar,” added Dagher.
