Discover it at Hotel Show Dubai - May 18/20, 2010
Okdak, a French company specialising in mobile interactive services, will unveil its latest concept at the Hotel Show: PASS’4 YOU, a virtual loyalty card opening privileged access to a variety of themes. Intended for business travellers, this “Universal” Pass can be obtained instantly on one’s mobile phone via an informative artwork (an interactive kiosk whose screen has been directly integrated into an artwork, located in a hotel, a tourist office, a railway station, an airport, etc). The customer’s mobile phone acts as a receiver incorporating remote-control functionality (a patented system). This eco-friendly (paperless) concept is innovative and open to all, including the motor-impaired, the visually-impaired and the hearing-impaired.
This virtual loyalty card provides privileged access focused on four themes: Art &Culture, Shopping, Transport and Gastronomy. Upon arrival into a foreign country, the tourist will receive his “Pass’4 You” by SMS+. From that point, all he needs to do is to present his mobile to partners’ scanners for immediate recognition. He then instantly receives loyalty points to be stored or redeemed using his mobile phone. For instance, he can get immediate discounts on his restaurant bill, his shopping, his transport or his cultural leisure:
‐ Transport Pass: 30% off per day
‐ Culture Pass: 50% off admission
‐ Shopping Pass: 10% off purchases
‐ Gastronomy Pass: 15% off the bill
Thanks to this single card, which avoids the hassle of “fumbling” through multiple “loyalty” cards – including those that can only be used once – and thanks to its dedicated programme (Business Man, Business Woman, VIP, etc.), business travellers will really feel duly appreciated. This card is compatible with every phone on the market, including older-generation mobiles; it is received via SMS+ as a MORRIS code (the brand and technology is patented by Self’Billet, OKDAK’s partner). Among related technology, let us mention Intelligent Vocal Server, SMS+, Pushwap, NFC, RFID, Tactile, and OKDAK patented technology. The vocal server is multilingual.
This patented technology (patent published under N°FR2862475) was awarded the Gold Medal at the European Concours Lépine competition, First Prize at Telecom Valley, the Palmier Tourism@Cannes, as well as First Prize for creativity in tourism.
