Park Hyatt Dubai Celebrates Four Years in Operation;
Park Hyatt Jeddah to Open Soon;
Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Set for 2010 Opening

Park Hyatt is now an established luxury brand in the Middle East’s gulf region following four years of success for Park Hyatt Dubai, the opening of Park Hyatt Jeddah later this year, and the opening of Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi 2010, say Hyatt executives.

“The demand for luxury hospitality will continue to grow across the Gulf region, largely due to guests’ preference for premier location and personal service,” said Peter Fulton, managing director, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts – South West Asia International Operations.

Park Hyatt hotels are discreet, with a sophisticated, residential style and situated in city-centre locations offering the individual traveler with personal attention and unparalleled business amenities.

Following the success of Park Hyatt Dubai, the first Park Hyatt hotel in the Middle East, Hyatt will see the opening of Park Hyatt Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s premier luxury resort and spa, in the second half of 2009, and Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi in Saadiyat Island, set to open by 2010.

Fulton added: “We are confident that despite the economic downturn in the hospitality industry, more and more regional, local and international travelers prefer key elements such as discrete luxury and sophisticated designs – all of which are associated with the Park Hyatt brand.”

Park Hyatt Dubai continues to be one of the leading hotels in the Middle East and Dubai’s only city-centre resort. With an emphasis on exclusivity and discreet excellence, the hotel is located on the banks of the Dubai Creek and adjacent to the world-famous Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. Surrounded by tropical gardens and a wealth of wildlife, Park Hyatt Dubai provides guests with privacy and tranquility, offering the perfect haven for a summer escape.

Park Hyatt Jeddah – Marina, Club & Spa, a 142-room hotel set to open in the second half of 2009, is located in the vicinity of the city’s business district within the Equestrian Club grounds on a 140 000 metre square complex with easy access to the Red Sea. Park Hyatt Jeddah will also boast a spa and wellness centre with separate facilities for men and women.

To be located on the northern part of Saadiyat Island and surrounded by a golf course, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi will boast a 9-kilometre stretch of pristine natural beach where guests can watch dolphins and visit the natural, turtle-nesting habitat on the island. When it is completed in 2010, Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi will be the 34th hotel in the Park Hyatt portfolio, the third Park Hyatt property in the Middle East following Park Hyatt Dubai and Park Hyatt Jeddah, the fourth Hyatt hotel in the UAE, and the ninth Hyatt branded property in the region.

Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi will be located within the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island, which will also be home to the future Louvre Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi museums.

Hyatt’s exhibition stand at Arabian Travel Market 2009 will be located in Za’abeel Hall, stand number HC 700, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
