Parcel bomb in Iran kills boy

A ten-year-old boy was killed on Sunday in the Hamadan region of western Iran when a parcel bomb exploded, IRNA news agency said. The parcel exploded in front of a house in the Ansar al-Emam village, close to the city of Hamadan, the news agency said quoting police.  

 

The child was killed on the spot and two other boys wounded. Police are investigating the origins of the blast.  

On August 6, a policeman was slightly hurt when he attempted to defuse a parcel bomb in the northeastern city of Mashhad. (Albawaba.com)
