Two lions managed to escape from their cages in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa region causing panic among residents.
A local security source told KUNA the lions escaped from their cage in a circus site in the city of Zahle. Security forces and civil defense units were put on high alert and search was mounted.
Additionally, Lebanese army helicopters were used to search the Bekaa plain. According to KUNA, the source said one of the lions was captured while search to locate the other animal was still going on. (Albawaba.com)
