A firebomb was thrown at an Israeli vehicle near Ouja, north of Jericho, in the Jordan Valley, Monday evening, the Jerusalem Post reported, adding there were no casualties.

Border Police officers caught a Palestinian youth from Isawiya in the act of throwing stones at passing cars on the main Jerusalem-Ma'aleh Adumim road, the paper said, adding that "there were no casualties and no damage."

Meanwhile, Palestinians in Beit Jala fired two bursts of shots at the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo late in the evening, according to the paper.

The Israeli Army, in return, used machine guns to return fire, damaging an apartment; there are no reports of casualties, said Jerusalem Post -- Albawaba.com
