Iraqi President Saddam Hussein on Sunday chaired the 20th Cabinet session meeting.
In the course of the cabinet meeting, the Palestinian people’s “steadfastness… defiant Intifada against the criminal Zionism” was praised.
According to the official Iraq News Agency INA, the Speaker of the National Assembly Dr. Sadoon Hammadi presented a briefing on his participation in the 3rd General Council of Asian parliaments Organization for Peace meetings, which took place in China.
The meeting reviewed matters on its agenda and adopted necessary recommendations and decisions.
Moreover, the Iraqi cabinet got acquainted with a report presented by Oil Minister Amir Mohammed Rashid on the Ministry’s plans to meet local market needs of oil and derivatives and the adopted measures to face the increase in consumption, INA added. (Albawaba.com)
