Palestinian shot dead near Bethlehem

A Palestinian was shot dead by an Israeli army patrol Saturday. According to AFP, Israeli troops shot dead a 16-year-old boy after a group of Palestinians hurled rocks at an army patrol near the village of Tuqua in the southern West Bank, according to Palestinian medics. According to Reuters, the victim was 18-year-old when he was shot near the West Bank city of Bethlehem.

 

Hours earlier, dozens of Israeli settlers clashed with residents of a Palestinian village near Nablus in the northern West Bank, medical officials said.
