A Palestinian man was condemned to death by a security court in Gaza on Sunday for collaborating with Israel, the sixth such case in two weeks, reports said.
Khaled Al Akka, 28, was found guilty of providing Israeli security forces with information that led to the killing of Massud Ayyad, a commander of the Palestinian Presidential Guards Unit, Force 17, AFP said.
The Palestinian officer died when an Israeli attack helicopter blew up his vehicle near the refugee camp of Jabaliya, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Five other men have been sentenced to die in the last two weeks by a Palestinian security court in Nablus in the West Bank.
Palestinian President Yasser Arafat has yet to ratify the court rulings.
Two Palestinians found guilty of collaboration were executed by a firing squad on January 13. They were the first collaborators to be executed since the Palestinian Authority was set up in 1994.
